The Missouri Broadcasters Association is proud to be a Sustaining Member of the Society for Broadcasting Engineering. The Society of Broadcast Engineers is the professional organization of television and radio engineers and those in related fields. The SBE offers the preeminent technical broadcast certification program in the U.S. and an expansive list of educational programs for broadcast engineers, operators, technicians, and broadcast IT professionals.
The MBA helped create the Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program, now used by all state broadcast associations across the nation, in cooperation with the FCC. We also work with engineers and technical personnel to obtain credentials that will allow access to broadcast equipment during a state of emergency as part of the First Informer Broadcasters Act. We support engineers with training, FCC updates and alerts.
The mission of the Missouri Broadcasters Association is promoting the success and prosperity of Missouri’s Broadcasters
