A California native, Valerie programmed WABC in New York, helped execute the initial format change to talk at KFI, worked on air at several stations in Los Angeles, and as a journalist and news director in San Francisco, Phoenix and several other markets. She currently works globally to train communicators to better engage audiences and increase audience growth. Geller has consulted and presented seminars and workshops worldwide in the U.S.A, Canada, Europe, Africa, Australia, and Asia. Geller has been named multiple times among the 50 Most Influential Women in Radio by Radio Ink Magazine. She received the Rockwell lifetime achievement Award and contributions to radio broadcasting. She has written four books, including her latest, “Beyond Powerful Radio – A Communicators Guide to the Internet Age.”
