Job Summary/Description:
WGEM-TV seeks an experienced videographer stationed in our Springfield Illinois Capitol Bureau office. We need an aggressive competitor able to shoot and edit state government daily assignments, upload material to our other Gray-TV affiliates, and operate live shots. You will either collaborate with a Capitol Bureau Chief and at times work solo in providing Illinois state politics content for six Illinois Gray-TV stations.

We’re looking for a self-starter, who doesn’t just follow the pack but finds the unique images to tell good stories. We want someone who can look outside the meeting and can advise the Bureau Chief on compelling videos beyond the Capitol to make a routine story captivating.

Qualifications/Requirements:
