About WGEM:
WGEM is the dominant NBC affiliate located in Quincy, Illinois. We serve the Tri-States region consisting of Illinois, Missouri and Iowa.
Job Description/Summary:
WGEM is looking for a qualified candidate, with knowledge of local high school athletics to be the Play by Play announcer for our radio broadcasts. Prior broadcast experience is a plus. The qualified candidate will work with the WGEM sports department as well as the Play by Play announcer.

– Team player with professional attitude and strong communication skills
– Must have great attention to detail
– Ability to multi-task under time-sensitive deadlines
– Strong technical and computing skills
