Eagle Radio – St Joseph is searching for a Night Board Operator. At the St Joseph Media Center, we now have an opening for a Night Board Operator. It’s a job that will oversee the on-air status, commercial log and programming schedule for 5 local radio stations. Voice Tracking fill in shifts, sports play by play, and remote opportunities broadcast may also be available for a person with prior experience and skill set.
Compensation is commensurate with experience along with a competitive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
– Input pre-recorded programs and features for the next day
– Answer phone inquiries and update any school and business closings with our local listening area
– Input commercial and other audio as needed by Program Director and/or Production Director.
– Take transmitter technical read outs and report irregularities in transmission signal, power levels, tower lights, or any other station issue to supervisor.
We are open to candidates that do not have any radio experience, but would prefer someone with 1 to 3 years of some form of radio experience.
